Begin your unforgettable Kenyan safari with an early morning pick-up at 6:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Meet your expert safari driver-guide who will brief you on the journey ahead. Experience breathtaking views as you descend into the Great Rift Valley en route to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve—a scenic drive of approximately 5.5 hours.
Stop briefly at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can marvel at the sweeping vistas of the world’s largest valley, visible even from outer space. Arriving around lunchtime at Maasai Mara, check into your camp or lodge and enjoy a delicious meal.
At 3:30 PM, embark on your first afternoon game drive, visiting waterholes where elephants, rhinos, and buffalos cool off with mud baths. Keep your eyes peeled for hyenas and wild dogs, and as the heat intensifies, spot lions resting in the shade, elusive cheetahs, and graceful leopards. Return to your lodge for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 1:Arrival Nairobi
Arrival at the Jomo Kenya International Airport, meet and greet by your driver guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay at Villa Rosa Kempinski (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2:Nairobi-Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast, Briefing by your driver guide and transfer to Nakuru National Park. Approximately 170KMs, takes Approximately 3.5 Hours drive depending on traffic with a brief stop at Great Rift Valley view-Point. We will be arriving at your Lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. The park is famous for the abundant greater and lesser Flamingoes (when the later levels on the lake are low) Wildlife here is bountiful including Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and Hyenas. Rothschild Giraffe as well as black and white Rhino are also found here are. Lake Nakuru National Park is an Ornithological Paradise for Bird lovers as well. Day 3:Lake Nakuru National Park-Maasai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast then we pick you and drive you to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Approximately 270 KMs, takes approximately 6 hours drive. This is arguably one of the best Africans Safaris destinations. You will be arriving at Lodge/Camp for check-in then lunch. Proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 4:Maasai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a full day of game viewing drives. You can also opt for a morning and afternoon game viewing drives with hot lunch at the lodge. This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including ‘Big Five’ of Africa. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is home to hundreds of wildlife species including the famous Big Five (Lion, Savannah Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and cape Buffalo), the Cheetah, Hartebeests, grand and Thompson Gazelles, Maasai Giraffe, Hippo and common Zebra among many others. Day 5:Departure
Enjoy breakfast then check-out. We drive you back to Nairobi which takes proximately 7hour’s. Approximately 290Kms, takes approximate 7hour’s drive depending on traffic. Alternatively at an extra cost you may opt for a one-hour light scheduled flight to the Wilson Airport. If time allows you will enjoy lunch before our guide driver drops you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. 1. Visas and Entry Requirements
- Visa Requirements: Ensure you have a valid passport with at least six months of validity. Most East African countries (Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania) require a visa for international travelers. - Entry Health Requirements: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Rwanda and most neighboring countries.

- Required Vaccinations: In addition to Yellow Fever, it’s recommended to be up-to-date with routine vaccines such as Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Tetanus.
- Malaria Precaution: Malaria is prevalent in many areas of East Africa. Travelers are advised to take anti-malarial medication and use insect repellent with DEET, especially in rural areas.

- Kenya and Tanzania: The best time for safaris is from June to October, during the dry season, when animals gather around water sources, making wildlife viewing easier.
- Packing for the Seasons: Dry season (June–October) is great for wildlife viewing, while the rainy seasons (March-May, October-November) bring lush landscapes but may make some roads impassable.
6. Currency and Money Matters
- Local Currency: Rwanda uses the Rwandan Franc (RWF), Uganda uses the Ugandan Shilling (UGX), Kenya the Kenyan Shilling (KES), and Tanzania the Tanzanian Shilling (TZS).
- Foreign Currency: U.S. Dollars are widely accepted, especially for larger payments like park fees and accommodations. However, smaller transactions should be made in local currency.
- ATMs and Credit Cards: ATMs are available in major cities, but it’s advisable to carry cash, especially when traveling to rural areas. Credit cards may not be widely accepted outside major hotels.
